Abstract

Abstract: An uplink interference coordination scheme by combining HII and OI is proposed for the OFDMA wireless system. While the traditional schemes aim to improve rate of users in the whole network or at the cell edge, the proposed scheme targets the satisfaction of all the users in the network. In practice, high interference indicator (HII) and overload indicator (OI) are combined. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme significantly improves user satisfaction compared with the traditional schemes and it is a good candidate for practical systems.
