A scheduling method for saving UE's power by using DRX for the video streaming is proposed in this paper. The times of starting/restarting I-Timer can be reduced while the delay requirement of a packet is guaranteed, which increases the sleeping time of a UE. Simulation results show that this method can significantly reduce the power consumption of a UE with the same packet loss rate.
