Computational Stability of Explicit Difference Schemes of Forced Dissipative Nonlinear Evolution Equations

Abstract:

Based on the concept of computational quasi-stability, the computational stability of the explicit difference schemes fo r the forced dissipative nonlinear evolution equat ions is analyzed, then the computational quasi-stability criterion is obtained.It provides a new thought and the theoret ical basis fo r designing a computationally stable difference scheme for the fo rced dissipative nonlinear atmospheric equations.
