Energyefficiencyisthecriticalfactorinwirelesssensornetworks.Increasingthepacketsizemay increasetheprobabilityoftransportationerror,whileshorteningthepacketsizemayencountertoomanycontrolpackets.Itisaworthyissuetooptimizepacketsizesoastoimprovetheenergyefficiency.Previousworksonsetting thepacketsizenormallyisbasedonextensivenumericalorimplementalsimulation.Inthispaper,wetryto constructanoptimalmodeltoestablishtheinternalrelationshipamongradiounit,channelsandprotocols.One numericalexampleillustratestherelationshipbetweentheoptimalpacketsizeandthedatawhichtobesent.

Basedonthefullpotentiallinearizedplanewavemethodoffirstprinciple,thecalculationsofthetotal energyandtheequilibriumlatticeconstantforthebodycenteredcubic(bcc)PbScompoundhavebeenperformed withindifferentexchangecorrelationpotentials(DECP)onboththegeneralizedgradientapproximation(GGA)and thelocaldensityapproximation(LDA).TheeffectofDECPonthebandstructure,thedensityofstates,thepartial densityofstatesandthebandgaparediscussed,respectively.Theenergycalculationshowsthatthefacecentered cubicstructureisfoundtobethemorestableonethanthatofthebccstructure.Inaddition,bandstructure calculationsinthebccstructureshowabandgapexistence,whichagreeswellwithexperimentalresultsofotherPb chalcogenidecompound(PbTe).TheaboveresultofPbS(bcc)ishelpfultotheexperimentalstudyinthefuture.

Abstract ShotPeening(SP)isatypicalsevereplasticdeformationmethodtoproduceultrafinegrainsofmetallic materials.Anexperimentalinvestigationiscarriedoutonpurecopperspecimensbymeansofashotpeening machinedrivenbyhighenergyairpressure,asurfaceroughnessmeasurmenttester,amicrohardnessindenter,an opticalmicroscopeandascanningelectronmicroscopeequippedwithelectricalbackscatterdiffractionapparatus.Theresultsshowedthatsurfaceroughnesstakesonanexponentialdecaywithdisposaltime,andthatthegrainsizeinthespecimenswith13333sis252micronscomparedwiththeoriginalvalueof2548microns,i.e.itis refinedbyoneorderofmagnitude.Themicrohardnesstestingonthespecimenshowedthehardnessincreasedfrom0.58GPato1.25GPaafterSPtreatment.Ontheotherhand,adimensionalanalysisisperformedtoexamineSP
processsothattoobtainfivedimensionlessparametersandthemethodoffiniteelementsimulationisusedtoanalyzetheeffectofdimensionlessparametersonsurfaceroughness.InordertofurtherunderstandSPprocess,weusedVB
towritethesubprogramfortherandomimpactsimulation,whichthenincorporatedwithfiniteelementcodeAnsys/ls-dynasoastosimulatethecollisionprocessbetweenballsandsample.Andsimulatedresultsandexperimental resultswerecomparedtoverifythefiniteelementmodel.

Theuniversallyremarkablepatternofviscousdebrisflowisintermittentsurge.Accordingtofield observationofJiangjiaravinesince1961,basedonanalyzingthedischargeseriesdata,distributionofdischargehasbeenfoundtobewellfittedbyexponentialfunctionwithexponentvarying with the maximal discharge.Andthe exponentiscloselyrelatedtotheprocessofthetemporalfeatureofthesurgeseries.Furthermore,thesurge dischargeinaseriespresentsremarkablefeatureofdecayingwhichisalsodeterminedbythepeakdischarge.Thatis,surgeserieswithhigherpeakdischargefallsatsteeperslope.Thefeaturesrevealedinthispapershouldbe the intrinsicofdebrisflow.

Atfirst,thepaperdiscussesthescalestructureoftheurbansystemoftheBeibuBaycirclingeconomic zonebyfiguringouttheprimatecityindex,thescaleimbalanceindexandthefractaldimensionofthetownsize distributionoftheBeibuBaycirclingeconomic.Thenthepaperanalysesthespatialstructureoftheurbansystemby

Theeffectoforaladministrationofvanadium(V)onbloodglucosewasexaminedinthemaleandfemale KKmicewithgeneticnoninsulindependentdiabetesmellitus(NIDDM).Themajordifferencesbetweenmalesand femaleswereobservedintheirsensitivitytohighconcentrationofvanadium(100mg?L)throughdrinkingwater.The
resultsobtainedfrommalemiceshowedthatwaterintake,bloodglucoseandhemoglobinA1c(HbA1c)levels,triglyceride(TG),highdensitylipoproteincholesterol(HDLc),andtotalcholesterol(TCHO)weresignificantlydecreasedwithoutanyeffectonbodyweight.Furthermore,theplasma1,5anhydroglucitol(1,5AG)concentrationandglucosetoleranceweresignificantlyincreasedandimprovedafter100mg?Lofvanadiumtreatment.Inaddition,vanadiumhadnoeffectonplasmaglutamicpyruvictransaminase(GPT)andglutamicoxaloacetatetransaminase(GOT)activities,andbloodureanitrogen(BUN)levelsascomparedwiththecontrols.Theseresultssuggestthat therearesignificantsexdifferencesinsensitivitytovanadiumwithaglucoseloweringdoseinmaleandfemaleKK

Inordertoimprovethespeedandrobustofdetectinghumanface,analgorithmoffacedetectionbased onEMPCAandhierarchicalclassificationispresented.Inthetrainingstep,differentresolutionsoftrainsamplesareusedfortrainingtwokindsoffisherlineardiscrimination,andtrainthenonlinearSVMbyusingthefeature extractedbymeansofEMPCA.Inthedetectionstep,thefisherlineardiscriminationisusedforexcludinglarge partsofbackgrounds,andusetheSVMtoperformthefinaldetection.Experimentalresultsshowthatthenew algorithmisfeasibleandefficient.

TheHammersteinmodeliscomposedofanonlinearstaticelementandalineardynamicelementserially,anditprovestobeeffectiveindescribingthebehaviorofmanychemicalprocesses.Byappropriateidentification,theintricatenonlinearcontrolproblemofthismodelcanbefacilitatedintotwoproblems:thecontrolofthelinearpartandthesolutionofthenonlinearpart.Inthispaper,amodelpredictivecontrolschemeisproposed,whichusesasetofneuralnetworkstoapproximatetheinverse mappingofthenonlinearblock.Thisneuralnetworksmethodneedntassumethatthenonlinearblockis apolynomialequation,thusitovercomesthedifficultythatnorealrootsexistforthepolynomialequation.Twosimulationexamples,includingapHneutralizationprocess,areusedtodemonstratetheeffectiveness ofthemethod.

in this paper, thedesign and implementation ofthesynchronization algorithmsin alldigitalcommunicationreceiversareintroduced.ThefixedpointtimingrecoveryalgorithmbasedontheGardnerfeedbackloopapproachandthecarrierrecoveryalgorithmusingdigitalCostaslooparerealizedviaAlteraDSPBuilder.BoththecomputersimulationandtheFPGArealizationdemonstratethevalidityofthealgorithms.ResultsshowthattherealizedsystemhasgoodperformancewiththeSNRdegradationlessthan15dB,theacquisitionrangesoftimingrecoveryandcarrierrecoverylargerthan±1% and±4%,respectively.

SARimage.Experimentalresultsshowthatmultibandfusioncancombinethepreponderanceandcomplementary informationofeachbandandachieveclassificationresultswhichcouldn’tbegotinsingleband.Themodified methodsdecreasetheeffectofthewrongclassificationinformationthroughweightingandaccordinglyimprovethe classificationaccuracy.
